The Keren Kolot Educational Foundation
The Keren Kolot Educational Foundation was founded following Kibbutz Ketura receiving the Israel Speaker of the Knesset Award in 1987 in recognition of its achievement in co-existence between religiously observant and non-observant Jews.
It has since expanded to become a major force in innovative educational programming, hosting some 6,000 people a year in many programs lasting from a half-day to three months. Keren Kolot’s dedicated staff facilitates open ended, “hands-on” encounters with textual material while utilizing the desert environment. The staff often creates new activities and programs to suit the needs of individual clients.
